Snowdon Trip

There is a proposed trip up Snowdon being arranged if anyone is interested. This isn't an "official" TranspeakWalk event but being arranged by one of our enthusiastic volunteers, anyone is welcome.

The date will be Saturday April 14th, early start and back same day with possible stopover on way back for refreshments.Led or by Peter Wild, back up Karen Padley.

This is a challenging walk, 3.5 hrs climbing, involving some scrambling, and some ridge walking. Ascending via the Watkins Path avoiding the crowds.

Reasonable level of fitness is required, and a good head for heights.
Car sharing or Mini Bus hire dependant on numbers.

Charity Walks - The Red Cross

Representatives have requested that we share details of two of their upcoming charity events. Any arrangements are made with the Red Cross group, not Transpeak Walks.

Walks and treks - Peak District Walk ( 23rd September) & Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge (14th July)

Our wide selection of charity treks and walks allow you to choose the perfect challenge for you. Whether you want to walk the South Downs Way, complete the 3 Peaks Challenge or climb Kilimanjaro, there really is something for everyone.

When you sign up for one of our walks or treks, we will send you a fundraising pack, including sponsorship forms, PR advice and information about the Red Cross. You will also receive a training plan, tips and support from your local fundraiser. You can set up your very own Red Cross branded fundraising webpage on VirginMoneyGiving where you can share your story and photos.
