Book a Walk

It is essential to book a place on all our guided walks. Booking was introduced in the interests of health and safety and to ensure that the size of the group is appropriate to the type of walk.

Bookings must be made by 12:00 midday on the Friday prior to the Saturday walk.

Walk Grades

There are three grades of walk to suit different levels of fitness:

    Easy Walks
    Are designed for families and the occasional countryside walker.

    Moderate Walks
    Involve some hill-climbing and rougher terrain, and require some walking fitness.

    Strenuous Walks
    Cover longer distances over steep and rougher terrain, and need good walking fitness and stamina.
